Quality assurance has the highest priority at Erbacher the food family. This is exactly why we operate a testing laboratory accredited by the DAkkS (German accreditation body) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018. The accreditation is only valid for the scope of accreditation listed in the document D-PL-19819-01-00. In the laboratory, chemical laboratory technicians, food technicians and other experts monitor the quality of all our products every day, starting with the raw materials. This is vital because only If the ingredients are premium quality, can the end products of our digitally controlled production also be premium quality. That’s why we only use raw materials that have been approved by the laboratory. During the controls, the content of nutrients, minerals and trace elements is also checked, as is any contamination by undesirable micro-organisms or chemical substances. In addition, we also test our semi-finished and finished products, i.e. the entire process chain. In 2016 alone, our laboratory carried out almost 300,000 analyses. The effort is worth it – our QM system minimises risks and ensures the consistently high quality standard of our pet food and foodstuffs.
